Srilankan Army Chief calls on COAS General Bajwa in GHQ

RAWALPINDI – Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa met Commander of Sri Lankan army Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayaka in Rawalpindi’s General Headquarters (GHQ) on Monday.
Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayaka was presented guard of honour upon his arrival at GHQ. ------------------------------

During the meeting, the leaders discussed bilateral matters of mutual interest, military to military relations and regional security situation. ------------------------------

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Sri Lankan commander appreciated the role of Pakistan army in war against terrorism.
Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayaka also laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada at General Headquarters.
