Pakistan PM hands over UN Chief the dossier of Indian ceasefire and human rights violations in occupied Kashmir

NEW YORK: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has handed over dossier of atrocities committed by the Indian government and the Indian Army in the Indian Occopied Kashmir.

PM on Thursday called on United Nations (UN) Secretary General Antonio Guterres on the sidelines of 72nd session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The two figures discussed situation in Afghanistan and ceasefire violations by India. The prime minister also handed a dossier on human rights violation in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK) to the UN secretary general.

He also demanded appointment of a special UN envoy for occupied Kashmir.

On the occasion, Guterres said that he holds Pakistan very close to his heart and acknowledges its efforts against terrorism.

Abbasi will be addressing the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York tonight, in what will be his debut into the highest international diplomacy after having taken over the office last month.
