Boxer Amir Khan reacts to the Faryal Makhdoom apology

LONDON – Boxer Amir Khan has on Friday shattered estranged wife Faryal Makhdoom’s dream of resurrecting their marriage — as he confirmed they are still getting divorced.
Earlier Faryal posted a gushing apology on Twitter — the post has since been deleted — to her husband’s parents and said they had reconciled their feud for the benefit of her daughter and unborn baby.
But hours later Khan stunned his pregnant wife by insisting their divorce is still going ahead.
And now, it seems Faryal, 26, may not be best pleased with her 30-year-old husband after he rejected her on Twitter.
Faryal, who is pregnant with her second child, has now deleted her apology from her account. She had originally written: ‘I would like to send a special message to all my supporters: Thank you for being there for me during my darkest hours.
‘As you know, the past three months have been really tough on me and my marriage. ‘All this infighting between me and my in laws has had a terrible effect on my husband and I… and for that I would like to sincerely apologise.’
