PM Nawaz Sharif takes India to task for blaming Pakistan on Uri attack

NEW YORK: (APP) Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Thursday said that Indian government should have conducted a thorough probe into the firing incident in Uri area of Indian held Kashmir before blaming Pakistan for it.

"An enquiry or investigation should have been held into the incident. Probe into such incidents take several days or weeks. Can you reach to conclusion within 10 to 12 hours? Doing this within no time has caused doubts in every mind," the prime minister said talking to the newsmen here.

He said the government was successfully meeting all three challenges including power crisis, economic revival and the elimination of terrorism from the country.
