Pakistan Hockey team leaves for Dhaka to participate in Asia Cup 

PESHAWAR: (APP) Pakistan hockey team left for Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh to participate in the forthcoming Boys Under-18 Asia Cup Hockey Tournament to be commencing from September 24-30, 2016.

It was the fourth edition of the Asia Cup wherein Pakistan after relatively a better show against a recently concluded home series against Oman Under-18, are expected to give better result. Junaid Mansoor, hailing from a remote village of Bahawalpur is named as captain while Moeen Shakeel from Lahore will be his deputy.

Pakistan will face Chinese-Taipei in the first match to be played on September 24, followed by other matches including on September 25 will face China and after a rest on September 26 will clash against Hong Hong (China). The two Semi Finals will be played on September 29 and the final on September30.

Kamran Ashraf, a former center forward Olympian will act as manager and head coach while Mudassar Ali Khan is the coach of the team with other members comprising Video Analyst Asim Abbasi, Team Doctor: Mohammad Adnan.
