Orange Line Metro Train project: Major Milestone achieved

LAHORE - A major Milestone has been achieved in the Orange Line Metro Train project.
The main contractor of the Orange Line Metro Rail Transit System has announced that it has finished work of laying down the remaining track of the transit train’s underground stations.
The contractor, a joint venture of China Railways Corporation (CR) and China North Industries Corporation (NORINCO), said with this now the entire main line is available for the next phase of the project.
According to an announcement of the company, the CR-NORINCO, it is responsible for laying the tracks, supply of the trains and the electrical and mechanical works.
The overall length of the Orange Line track is 25.58 kilometres one-line (51.16 kilometres both line) and there are 24 elevated and two underground stations along this route.
