PM Imran Khan chairs meeting of National Security Committee

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday chaired a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC), which was also attended by federal ministers and services chiefs of the armed forces.
Sources said that matters pertaining to the security situation at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border were discussed during the National Security Committee meeting, which was also attended by officials of intelligence agencies.
Matters relating to the country's internal and external security situation also came under discussion, while the participants also discussed progress on the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP).
