ISLAMABAD – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said that he was ready work with everyone for the supremacy of constitution as he has nothing to do with any institution.

Talking to media outside accountability court on Thursday, he said that despite working hard for the country’s development, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) proposed inclusion of his name in the Exit Control List (ECL).

The man who was behind nuclear tests in 1998, eradicated loadshedding and restored cricket in the country was standing in the court, he added.

“I have nothing to do with any institution and I am ready to sit and work for the supremacy of law and constitution,” Nawaz said.

Nawaz Said that Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was wrong that the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) backtracked from the Charter of Democracy.

The ex-PM asked that wasn’t it a more severe crime that a former chief justice Iftikhar Chaudhry was held under house arrest and the dragged out of the house by the police, adding that no one could do anything to former president Pervez Musharraf.

I was the one who started long march for the restoration of judges, he added.
