Cabinet approves Food Security, Deep Sea Fishing Licensing policies

ISLAMABAD:The federal cabinet has approved the National Food Security Policy and Deep Sea Fishing Licensing Policy 2018.
The approval was given at cabinet meeting in Islamabad with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in the chair.
The cabinet also approved signing of MoUs and agreements in different fields with China, Brazil, Germany, Tanzania, South Africa and Sri Lanka.
The Cabinet considered a summary for placement and deletion of names on Exit Control List and constituted a Cabinet Sub-Committee to examine the cases.
The meeting gave approval to establishment of fund at State Bank of Pakistan for Line of Credit Facility for Microfinance Banks and Microfinance Institutions.
Proposals for nomination of Directors for the Board of Pak- Arab Refinery Limited and Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation were also approved. APP/AFP
