Indian troops killing Kashmiri youth in fake encounters

ISLAMABAD-In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops are involved in picking up Kashmiri youth from houses during cordon and search operations and from jails and subsequently killing them in fake encounters after labeling them as militants.

The disclosure was made by the Jammu and Kashmir People's Freedom League in Srinagar today.

A spokesman of the party in a statement said the troops burry the victims in unknown locations, supervised by the Indian Army, to hide their heinous crime.

Meanwhile, family members of a Ph.D scholar from Srinagar, Hilal Ahmad, staged a protest demonstration at Press Club in Srinagar to press for his release from the illegal custody of the Indian Army.

On the other hand, Hurriyat leadership and organzations in their separate statements paid glowing tributes to the three Kashmiri youth martyred by Indian troops in Srinagar, yesterday.

Similarly, Indian troops continued their violent cordon and search operations in Islamabad and other areas of the occupied territory.

Hurriayt leader Syed Faiz Naqshbandi while addressing the meeting of Ministers of Member states of OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir via video conference appealed to the member states to raise the human rights atrocities being committed by India in occupied Kashmir.

The All Parties Group on Kashmir–European Parliament also held a virtual meeting to discuss the latest human rights situation in occupied Kashmir.

The meeting took a strong note of prevailing double lockdown in the occupied territory.
