Panama Case JIT final investigation report on July 10

ISLAMABAD: The Panama Papers case Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed by Supreme Court of Pakistan to probe charges of corruption against Sharif family, on Thursday submitted its third fortnightly progress report in the court.

The court ordered the JIT to file the final report of the investigation by July 10.

Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Additional Director General Wajid Zia, who is leading JIT, appeared before the special bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan today to submit the report.

According to sources, the third progress report was prepared in the light of the questioning with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his brother and Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif and PM’s sons Hussain and Hassan Nawaz.
