NEW DELHI: Two Indian Army soldiers were killed in Occupied Kashmir after Pakistan's Army firing at the Indian Army's patrol party along LoC, Indian Army said, reports Times of India.

One of the attackers was injured in the Indian retaliatory action and his body was extricated under the cover of heavy firing by the Pakistani troops from their posts across the LoC, an Army official said.



"The attempt to intrude was foiled. This was BAT's third attempt this year in the area," Jammu-based defence spokesperson said, adding, our two jawans were killed during heavy exchange of fire."

He also said that one armed intruder has been gunned down by the Army patrol team. - TOI
