ISLAMABAD - Renowned political analyst Dr. Shahid Masood on Monday stated that Trump administration was likely to give Pakistan some concessions.
Talking in GNN widely-watched show Live With Dr. Shahid Masood, the analyst observed that Washington DC is likely to rehash mantra of ‘do more’ during Imran-Trump huddle.
The analyst added that Trump administration will discuss issues of Hafiz Saeed, Dr. Shakeel Afridi, Professor Junaid Hafeez, terrorism, and Afghan-India trade corridor.
“In reply, they [read Trump administration] will give Pakistan some concession. They might restore aid. However, both sides will rehash mantra of do more”, maintained the analyst. The analyst also added that Prime Minister Imran Khan can’t be blackmailed.
Replying to host’s question whether PM Khan can be pressurized, the analyst replied that it was not possible for anyone to pressurize or blackmail the premier.
“To remain in power is not Khan’s issue”, concluded Dr. Shahid Masood.
