UK supports Afghan govt’s peace talks: Ambassador Nicholas

KABUL: British ambassador Sir Nicholas Kay visited Afghan National Security Advisor Mohammad Hanif Atmar and discussed the peace process as being Afghan-led.
In a statement today (Saturday), NSA thanked UK for its commitment and cooperation regarding the training of Afghan forces.
Kay in turn said the Afghan government’s peace offer was a positive move and British leadership supports Afghan government’s peace talks.
