CPEC ongoing power projects in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: (APP) The Planning Commission has released Rs 60,138.400 million against total allocation of Rs 130,000 million in annual Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2016-17 for various power projects so far.
According to the data of Planning Commission, as many as Rs 30,000 million each was released for 1200 MW LNG Based Power Plant Baloki and for 1200 MW LNG Based Power Plant Haveli Bahadur Shah.
Similarly, an amount of Rs 78.400 million was released for 132 KV Pasinzai Grid Station with Transmission Line (Quetta) and Rs 60 million for 132 KV Sub Stations at Deep Sea Port Gwadar.
Meanwhile, a sum of Rs 9,063.048 million has been released against total allocation of Rs 31,716.370 million in annual PSDP 2016-17 for various water powers.
