Pakistan FM Qureshi telephones Sri Lankan PM, offers all out help

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan has extended all out help and support to Sri Lanka in the wake of explosions in Colombo in which more than two hundred people were killed.
In a tweet message, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said he spoke with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and assured him that Pakistan stands with Sri Lanka in its hour of need.
He said Pakistan also suffered as a result of terrorism but together we will defeat this menace in all its forms and manifestations.

13 suspects arrested
Meanwhile, in Sri Lanka, thirteen suspects have been arrested over a series of eight explosions.
According to Sri Lankan police officials, these suspects have been taken into custody in Colombo and handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department.
Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena has appointed a special commission to probe the attacks.
UN expresses outrage at terrorist attacks
The United Nations has expressed outrage at the terrorist attacks on churches and hotels in Sri Lanka on Easter, recalling the sanctity of all places of worship.
In a statement, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
