AJK PM urges UN to send fact-finding mission to assess HR abuses in IOK

AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider expressing deep concern over the deteriorating health conditions of detained Hurriyat leader Yaseen Malik has called upon the United Nations to intervene and send a fact-finding mission to assess human rights abuses in occupied Kashmir.

Addressing a news conference in Muzaffarabad today, he request the foreign missions of Pakistan to raise the issue exposing India by presenting the document released by UN human rights commission.

AJK Prime Minister said India's National investigation Agency is implicating the political leadership in fake cases with the aim to bow them before the oppressor leaving no option for the youth except militancy for their right to self-determination which was granted to them under UN charter.

He said wife and daughter of ailing leader Yaseen Malik have been refused visa by Indian government who wants to see him in a hospital in Delhi. He demanded the Indian government to give them visas on humanitarian grounds.
