Kabul suicide attack, Atleast 19 killed and wounded

KABUL: At least four persons were killed and 15 others injured in an explosion in Dasht-e-Barchi area of Kabul on Sunday morning.

The local media reported that the explosion happened at a voter registration center in Kabul.

Mohammad Dawood Amin, the Chief of Kabul police told media person that a suicide bomber had detonated his explosives in the door way of the ID distribution offices.

This comes after a number of attacks took place against voter registration center in the country last week.

Earlier on Tuesday, unknown armed men attacked a voter registration center in Ghor province and kidnapped three IEC employees and two policemen. Ghor police spokesman said the attackers were Taliban.

Similarly on Thursday, unknown armed men attacked two police force members in Jalalabad City who were guarding a voter registration center. The two policemen were killed in the ensuing gunfight.
