Nawaz Sharif’s political come back?
*ISLAMABAD – former premier Nawaz Sharif said that the all parties conference (APC) is decisive and we need to make this conference purposeful, asking that If we don’t do it today, when will we?*
Marking his political comeback after more than a year, the former prime minister addressed participants of APC via video link from London. He thanked the participants of the event and prayed for health recovery of PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
The PML-N quid thanked JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. He initiated his speech by thanking opposition parties for giving him the chance to express his thoughts. *Pakistan going through a lot of problems*
“Despite being away from the country, I know what our people are going through. Pakistan is going through a lot of problems, and the cause is just one. Pakistan has been kept away from democracy. The country should be run by those elected by the people,” he said.
“The country has become a hotbed of unrest and chaos. Electricity and gas bills and commodity prices are dropping bombs on the people. The incompetent government, standing on crutches, took a u-turn on every issue. Now let the system of the country should be run by those whom the majority of the people vote for,” the former premier maintained.
