Maryam Nawaz asks nation to pray for "Ammi's third surgery"

LONDON - Begum Kulsoom, arrived at a London hospital on Wednesday for her third surgery. In a video shared by Maryam Nawaz, the Sharifs' daughter, Begum Kulsoom appears to be accompanied by her husband, Nawaz, who is holding her hand, and one of her sons.
"Arrived at the hospital for ammi's third surgery. Request for prayers," Maryam tweeted.
Begum Kulsoom, who recently won the NA-120 by-poll, is undergoing treatment for cancer in the United Kingdom.
She was diagnosed with early-stage lymphoma in August, with doctors hopeful that it would be curable.
