Earthquake jolts parts of Pakistan on Wednesday night

ISLAMABAD - Earthquake tremors were felt in Swat and its adjoining areas on Wednesday night causing a state of panic among residents.
The quake has been recorded to be of a magnitude of 4.4 while the epicentre of the tremor was 287 kilometres.
Its epicentre was the Hindu Kush mountain in Afghanistan. Despite the earthquake was of a minor nature residents came out of their homes in a state of panic.
There was no loss of life or property till the filing of this report.
