Federal government mulls arresting top Opposition leadership

ISLAMABAD – Federal government mulls arresting top Opposition leadership, media report has revealed.

The federal government will review to detain the top leadership of opposition parties if the talks regarding ‘Azadi March’ of JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman fail.

According to the details garnered, the opposition parties will meet today to discuss the matters regarding protest. The Rehbar Committee of opposition parties has been summoned today on immediate base for discussing the negotiation with the government.

During the meeting, the terms and condition and demands of talks with the government will also be discussed. They will also decide to strategy about the talks with government over Azadi March.

On the other hand, the federal government announced not to discuss about resignation of Prime Minister Imran Khan and mid-term elections with the opposition parties. It said that the top leadership of JUI-F may be detained if the talks fail.
