NEW DELHI: In India, angry relatives of those killed in yesterday's train accident, staged a protest in Amritsar today calling for action against those responsible.

Sixty people were killed when the Jalandhar-Amritsar express had hit scores of people gathered on the tracks to get a view of a fireworks on the occasion of a Hindu festival.

India's huge railway network is notorious for accidents, including scores who die while crossing the tracks illegally or falling off over-capacity trains.
