PM Imran Khan makes a big offer to Malaysian PM Mahatir Mohammad

KUALA LAMPUR: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday has made a big offer invitation to the Malaysia Prime Minister Mahatir Mohammad.
PM Khan invited his Malaysian counterpart, Dr Mahathir Mohamad, to visit Pakistan as chief guest on the occasion of Pakistan Day on 23rd March next year.
Mr. Khan extended the invitation during a formal conversation with Mahathir in the Malaysian capital on Wednesday.
PM Khan, who is in Kuala Lampur on his maiden official visit to Malaysia after assuming his post in August, was accorded an official welcome at the Prime Minister House.
Mr Khan’s visit would provide an opportunity to further cement the existing friendly and cordial bilateral relations by enhancing economic, trade and commercial ties for the mutual benefit of the two countries.
“Pakistan and Malaysia enjoy warm brotherly relations founded in mutual respect friendship and understanding reinforced by strong cultural and religious affinities,” the Foreign Office earlier said in a statement.
