NAB approve inquiries against 13 former top officials

ISLAMABAD - National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday approved 13 inquiries against former federal minister for housing and works Akram Khan Durrani, former Sindh food minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro and others.

The Executive Board of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was held at the anti-graft watchdog’s headquarters with Bureau’s Chairman Justice (R) Javed Iqbal in chair.

During the meeting, inquiries were also approved against former Peoples University of Medical and Health Services Shaheed Benazirabad vice chancellor Dr Azam Hussain, Amad Shah Bukhari and officers of CDA and different other departments.

The anti-graft agency also approved filing of references against former federal minister for communication Dr Arbab Alamgir and adviser to former prime minister Asma Arbab Alamgir Khan for having assets beyond income.

The NAB chairman directed the participants of the meeting to take the mega corruption cases to logical end on priority basis.
