FC official martyred in Balochistan

TURBAT – An official of the Frontier Corps was martyred while two insurgents were killed in a search operation in Turbat on Tuesday.
According to security officials, the security forces conducted a search operation on a tip-off regarding presence of militants in the area.
As the troops arrived at the site, the insurgents opened fire on the forces. In retaliatory fire, two militants were killed while an FC official embraced martyrdom.
Three security personnel were also injured during the operation.
Soon after the mishap, the security personnel started a search operation in the adjoining areas.
The security forces sprung into action after fifteen bullet-riddled bodies were recovered from the Buleda area of Kech district in Turbat, Balochistan last week. The victims hailed from various areas of Punjab.
