KARACHI - Anti PTI government alliance in making, sources have revealed. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Thursday expedited efforts to create alliance of opposition parties against the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
As per details garnered, PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari called on Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman.
Zardari and Rehman discussed evolving political scenario while former claimed that incumbent government has utterly failed in providing relief to the masses.
Zardar added, “Government is busy in revenge politics.”
To this, Rehman replied that the proceedings of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) are not accountability, rather they are revenge proceedings.
On the other hand, the JUI-F chief has also accelerated efforts to arrange meeting of PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and incarcerated Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz supremo Nawaz Sharif.
