US Senate rejects bid to end support for Saudi campaign in Yemen

ISLAMABAD:The US Senate has rejected a resolution seeking an end to Washington's support for Saudi Arabia’s campaign in Yemen civil war.
The Senate voted 55-44 to dismiss the resolution.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have held talks at the White House in Washington.
They discussed a last year agreement of two hundred billion dollars Saudi investment with the US, including large purchases of US military equipment.APP/AFP
