Khurram Dastagir reveals reasons behind civil - military tensions in country

ISLAMABAD - Defence Minister Khurram Dastagir Khan has said that the tension between civil and military will remain until two to three democratic governments complete their tenure.
Khurram Dastagir said that foreign and economic policies are the main reasons behind tense civil-military relations.
Khurram Dastagir expressed his reservations regarding Supreme Court verdict to oust former prime minister Nawaz Sharif from power. He said that next prime minister from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would be Shahbaz Sharif.
Talking about Senate elections, Khurram Dastagir said that some hidden hands were involved in our defeat in chairman and deputy chairman election.
