Asian Cricket Council U-23 Emerging Cup: Pakistan Squad announced

LAHORE: Pakistan on Tuesday announced the 15-man squad for the upcoming Asian Cricket Council U-23 Emerging Cup 2017 in Bangladesh.

The tournament will be played from March 26th to April 2nd.

The 15-man squad comprises of:

Imam ul Haq
Jaahid Ali
Imran Butt
Haris Sohail (Vice Captain)
Khushdil Shah
Hussain Talat
Mohammad Rizwan (Captain, Wicket Keeper)
Bilal Asif
Osama Mir
Zafar Gohar
Sameen Gul
Ahmed Bashir
Ghulam Mudassar
Ammad Butt
Hammad Azam

The green shirts are placed in Group B along side Bangladesh, Hong Kong and Nepal.

Group A consists of India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Afghanistan.

Pakistan will play its first game of the tournament against Nepal on 27th March. The green shirts will then taken on Hong Kong on 28th March.

Their last game of the group stage will be against Bangladesh on March 30th.
