ANF seized 215 metric tons of Narcotics

Anti-Narcotic Force (ANF) has seized 215 Metric Tons Narcotics and 25.11 Metric Tons Precursor Chemicals, amounting 3759.56 Million US dollars in international market last year.
According to ANF, drugs seized included 50103 kilogram opium, 6231 Morphine, 16593 Heroin, 138062 Hashish, 3870 Amphetamine, 32790 Psychotropic Tablets, 22274 Acetic Anhydride and 2835 Sulphuric Acid.
It said 1305 cases were registered and 1556 accused arrested in its 6787 operations across the country
