PCB Chairman rejects the rumours of grouping in Pakistani team

LAHORE: PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan said that Shahid Afridi will retire after T20 World Cup and if he changes his decision of retirement then board will take decision on merit regarding the inclusion of Afridi in team by keeping in view his performance.   

 

As per details, PCB Chairman was addressing a press conference in Lahore here at Monday. He further added that Pakistani team did not face any security issue in India rather the team received warm welcome in Kolkata.

 

While rejecting all rumours about the grouping in team Shahryar Khan made it clear that Pakistani team is united and there is no differences in team on captaincy.

 

He expressed his grief over the defeat of Pakistani team against India saying that Pakistani team need to improve their bating. PCB Chairman hoped that Pakistani team will come back in next two matches and qualify for semi-final.

 

While responding a question about the replacement of coach he said that the contract of present coach Waqar Younis will end in June after that PCB will decide about the new coach however the name of new coach has not been finalized yet.
