Application moved against Amitabh Bachan for singing National Anthem wrong in Kolkata

NEW DELHI: Application has been moved against Bollywood star Amitabh Bachan for singing National Anthem wrong in Kolkata before Indo-Pak T20 World Cup match.

 

Complaint has been filed in the Ashok Nagar Police Station in New Delhi by claiming that star actor used wrong words and its duration was 52 seconds despite of actual duration of 1 minute 52 seconds.

 

The complaint was filed by Ulhas PR states.

 

It is claimed that the Bachan charged Rs. 4 crore as a fee for coming at event but Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) refused the claim.

 

Earlier, Pakistani singer Shafqat Amant Ali also faced the same situation for wrong rendition of national anthem.

 

Both stars were nominated to sing National Anthem before the start of  Indo-Pak T20 cricket match at Eden Gardens Kolkata on March 19.
