ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has claimed that international establishment working against him.

He said that all of his political opponents have joined hands to defeat him in upcoming elections on behest of ‘global powers that be’.

Addressing election rallies in Bannu and Karak on Saturday, Khan said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) among other parties are colluding against his party, but “I will take them on and defeat them".

The PTI chief claimed that India and other world powers were backing the PML-N when he launched an anti-government movement in 2014, adding that he was also declared as ‘Taliban Khan’ after raising his voice against military operation in tribal areas. “All parties cried foul after the last elections, but when I demanded probe of rigging in four constituencies, they started terming me an enemy of democracy,” he said.

“2013 election was a fixed match … former chief justice Iftikhar Chaudhry, election commission and returning officers were all playing for them [PML-N]. How can they now claim that coming elections will be rigged,” remarked the former cricketer.

Khan said that his political opponents were only crying foul as they can see themselves losing in the July 25 polls.

He also took to Twitter, saying: “PTI stands steadfast in its goal for Naya Pakistan and inshaAllah we will succeed.”
