Saudi King Salman sweeping Intelligence and security reforms

Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has created a new security authority to focus on monitoring and combating terror funding.
According to the new royal decree, the Directorate General of Intelligence, Special Security Forces, Special Emergency Forces, Security Aviation and National Information Center will perform under a new body, named "The Presidency for State Security”.
The Presidency will communicate with related authorities abroad.
Another Royal decree terminated the military services of General Abdulaziz Bin Muhammad Al-Huwairini and appointed him as Chief of State Security with the rank of minister. He will continue in his post as Director General of General Intelligence.
