New oil and gas reserves discovered in Pakistan

New oil and gas reserve in Naushahro Feroze district of Sindh have been discovered which can yield 1.3mm cfd gas and nine barrels of crude oil annually, according to initial results. The natural gas reserve was found between the rocks. Engineers of the state-owned corporation had to dig up to the depth of 940 kilometers to discover the reserve.
PPL managed to build a horizontal level of 1.3 kilometers in order to extract gas and oil from it.
Experts told that the recent reserves of national resources discovered in Sindh have minute quantities in them, however, they can help in resolving the energy crisis.
