In an assertive gesture, NAB Chief rejects government names for slot of Prosecutor General

ISLAMABAD - National Accountability Bureau in a surprise and assertive gesture has rejected names proposed by the federal government for the vacant post of the prosecutor general NAB.
Sources privy to the government have reported that the government has rejected five names proposed by the bureau while NAB chairman rejected all three names forwarded by the government.
Reportedly, the accountability chief has refused to appoint a prosecutor general proposed by the government.
Delay in agreement of the government and NAB over a candidate has caused postponement of important affairs.
