Saudi Arabia hints at new round of talks with Iran

Saudi Arabia is desirous for a fifth round of direct talks with Iran despite a lack of substantive progress in previous rounds.

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud said if the 2015 Iran nuclear pact is revived, it should be the starting point to address regional concerns.

Meanwhile, Saudi Foreign Minister also met with his US counterpart Antony Blinken and discussed ways to enhance joint efforts to stop the Houthi militia's violations against Yemen.

Both also exchanged views on the Iranian nuclear program and the international negotiations surrounding a new deal currently ongoing in Vienna.
