VIDEO: Shoes thrown at the Indian Chief Minister

BHUBANESWAR: Another high profile Indian politician and government official has joined the list of politicians served with the shoes from the public.
Shoes were thrown towards Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik while he was campaigning for the upcoming Bijepur byelections on Tuesday.
The incident took place at a public rally in Kumbhari in Bargarh district's Barali.
The Chief Minister had just started off addressing the gathering when the youth allegedly hurled shoes targeting him.
The entire incident has been caught in a video and shared by news agency ANI.
Patnaik has not received any injuries. The accused was later caught hold of and thrashed by police.
Earlier on January 31, a woman had thrown eggs on Patnaik while he was attending an event. The event was taking place in the city of Balasore.
Following the incident, the woman was detained.
In a video captured during the incident, the Chief Minister was seen posing with a group of men for clicking pictures when suddenly the woman started throwing eggs targetting him.
