Suicide attackers neither Pakistani nor Afghan, nationality revealed

PESHAWAR, Feb 21 (APP): District Police Officer Charssadda Sohail Khalid has said that all the three bombers who attacked on Lower Court in Tangi tehsil were Uzbek nationals.
In a brief chat with local media men here Tuesday he said that investigation into the suicide bombing on the lower judiciary has been started on scientific lines as considerable progress has been made in initial investigations.
He said that four suspects have been arrested by the District Police after the bombing on the lower courts and they have been taken to undisclosed location for interrogation.
He said that three 9 mm pistols and five unexploded hand grenades have also been recovered d from t their possession.
He maintained that the bombers detonated five hand grenades during the attack.
Regional Police Officer, Ejaz Khan said that the bombers used 8-10 Kg of explosives during the assault on lower courts.
It merits a mention here that seven persons were killed and 23 injured when three bomber were shot dead while trying to enter the premises of the lower courts.
