Government clarifies news about talks offer to Taliban
PESHAWAR: (APP) A spokesman of the Governor's House, Peshawar has clarified that although the Governor, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Engr. Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has mentioned negotiation process while talking to media on Tuesday, yet it does not refer to Tahreek e Taliban Pakistan which is a terrorist organization.
In a press statement issued here on Tuesday, the spokesman said the Government of the Pakistan has already banned TTP and question does not arise to talking with it.
"What the Governor has talked to negotiation process that refers to Pak-Afghan talks", the spokesman said.
According to the Spokesman, the Governor has said that it could never happen that the government may bow down before terrorists.
The fact, he said, can be judged from the successes of the Zarb e Azb. The Spokesman further said that the Governor, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is fully determined to follow the last terrorist and that is also the policy of the government and its security institutions.
