Pakistan Airways registered with SECP as a subsidiary company of PIA


ISLAMABAD: Federal government has registered new airline with the name of Pakistan Airways. The new airline has been registered by Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). 


According to the declaration of PIA, Pakistan Airways has been registered as a subsidiary of Pakistan International Airline.


PIA spokesperson said that the aim of the registration of Pakistan Airways is to improve the performance of PIA while Pakistan Airways will be helpful to improve the standard of PIA


However, no application has yet been submitted to the Civil Aviation for the issuance of the license.


It is also worthy to mention here that government had given an indication to form new Airline after the recent strike of PIA employees against privatization.
