NAB should confine itself to its designated sphere: CM Shahbaz Sharif

LAHORE: After PM Nawaz criticism on NAB, Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif also expressed his concerns over the unnecessary actions of NAB against innocent people. He said that NAB is disturbing government officials.
As per details, CM Shahbaz Sharif was interviewed by a private TV channel. NAB has no right to investigate about national projects before their completion. If NAB personnel investigate over important projects then who will work on these projects, He added.
He made it very clear that NAB should work within its limits and confine itself to its designated sphere otherwise NAB itself will have to be accountable. We are desirous of effective accountability system but no one will be allowed to affect national projects.
Punjab CM claimed that NAB cannot prove even a single penny corruption in Punjab saying that Punjab government would welcome bureau’s action against corrupt officials in Punjab.
CM Shahbaz admired that an effective accountability system is necessary for the strength of democracy, eliminate corruption and for the stability of political and economic system but the process of accountability is condition with all the requirements of justice.
