India irked over PM Imran Khan’s diplomatic onslaught

NEW DELHI - Frustrated over Pakistan's strong response India has lashed out at PM Imran Khan.

India on Thursday strongly reacted against the condemnation issued by Prime Minister Imran Khan on the recent Pulwama killings in the held Kashmir.

“I think it will be better if they mind their own business and look at the internal affairs which are in a mess,” external affairs ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said during a media briefing when asked about PM Imran Khan’s remarks.

Kumar alleged that Pakistan took no action against terror groups operating from its soil, adding that statements coming from Islamabad demonstrate their “insincerity and duplicity”.

On Sunday, PM Imran had condemned the killing of several civilians in India-occupied Kashmir’s Pulwama and threatened to raise the issue at the UN. “We will raise the issue of India’s human rights violations in IOK and demand UNSC fulfil its Kashmir plebiscite commitment,” he demanded.

PM Imran had stressed that only dialogue, neither violence nor killing, would resolve this conflict.
