PTI seeks MQM support for Presidential elections
KARACHI – The Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has decided to vote for PTI nominated Dr Arif Alvi.
Earlier, a PTI delegation led by Dr Arif Alvi visited Bahadurabad and requested the MQM-P to vote for the PTI-nominated candidate.
MQM-P convener Khalid Maqbool Sidddiui said that the alliance of the two parties due to their same vision. “The way both parties cooperated with each other in the National Assembly will continue in future as well,” he said.
Dr Arif Alvi said that the MQM-P is their allied party. “We will make the new president from Karachi after getting the vote of the MQM-P,” he said.
Later, the PTI delegation also visited Idara Noor-e-Haq and requested MMA Karachi chapter president Hafiz Naeemur Rahman to vote for Dr Arif Alvi.
