Hanif Abbasi health condition critical in hospital

*ISLAMABAD - PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi condition was critical as he underwent an angioplasty at the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology on Tuesday.*
He was brought to the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology after he complained of chest pain on Monday. Doctors say that there was blockage in two of his heart’s valves.
A stent has been inserted to clear the blockage. He has now been shifted to the VIP ward, which has been declared a sub-jail.
The Control of Narcotics Substances (CNS) court had convicted Abbasi in the ephedrine quota case on July 22. He has been incarcerated in Adiala jail.
