US President Donald Trump goofs up on twitter yet again bringing embarrassment for Americans
WASHINGTON - US President Donald Trump on Sunday committed another faux pas as he erroneously wrote that "138 million people" were killed in a string of blasts in Sri Lanka.
His tweet was soon deleted, but not before twitterati took notice of the error by the US President and mocked him for that.
The near-simultaneous attacks on Easter Sunday at three churches and as many luxury hotels frequented by foreigners killed more than 200 people and injured over 450 others, shattering a decade of peace in the country after the end of the brutal civil war with the LTTE.
"Altogether, we have information of 207 dead from all hospitals.
According to the information as of now we have 450 injured people admitted to hospitals," police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekera told reporters.
