Targeted attack on Police Officials, two policemen seriously injured

BUREWALA: Two policemen were seriously injured in firing of an unidentified armed motorcyclist who sped the scene here on Sunday.
According to details, two armed men riding a motorcycle sprayed bullets at police team while it was on routine patrolling near Haji Kot area of Burewala. The attackers fled the scene after committing the crime.
The injured cops were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital where one policeman was referred to Nishtar Hospital Multan due to critical condition.
The police cordoned off the area after the attack and launched operation for unidentified assailants. A case was also registered against unknown culprits and investigation was underway.
