CPEC: First phase to pay affectees begins in Battagram

BATTAGRAM: The first phase of payments to the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) affectees of Battagram started on Friday.
District Nazim Battagram Atta ullah Tarand and Deputy Commissioner Battagram Asad Haroon awarded cheques to ten affectees of Union Council Baniya and Koza Banda Battgram worth Rs 100.7 million.
Talking to media on this occasion, District Nazaim Battagram Atta Ullah Tarand said today we are able to pay the value of land to the affectees of CPEC and soon we will start payments to other people at their doorstep.
District Nazaim Battagram said that we have started many developmental projects in the district and will continue them to provide basic facilities of life to the masses. (APP)
