Army Chief dismisses 13 Army Officers over corruption charges
RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has dismissed 13 high ranking Army Officers here at today over corruption charges.


As per ISPR, all the Army Officers have been dismissed due to corruption charges while departmental inquiry continued against them and they are dismissed in the light of departmental inquiry report


Plots, agricultural land and other facilities were withdrawn by Pak Army from these dismissed officers however they could only enjoy facility of medical and pension.


The dismissed officers includes Lt. Gen. Abaidullah Khattak, Maj. Gen. Ijaz Shahid, five Brigadiers, three Colonels and one Major. Brigadier Haider, Asad Shahzada, Saifullah, Rashid, Amir, Colonel Haider and Major Najeeb were among the dismissed officers.


All these officers have also rendered their services in Frontier Constabulary while Lt. Gen. Abaidullah Khattak has also provided his services as IG Frontier Corps.


It is also worthy to mention here that Army Chief said in his statement few days ago that across the board accountability is necessary for stability and integrity of Pakistan .
